The chess was made in the classic style of Tuvan carved miniatures. Tuvan carving is a unique art style, historically common in the geographical Center of Asia - the Republic of Tuva. This region of East Siberia and the upper reaches of the Yenisei river is the cradle of the ancient people of the Yenisei Kyrgyz, whose history directly influenced the formation of cultures of Ancient Turkic and preteristic peoples, the Scythians and the Mongols, Chinese and Tibetans, and peoples of the North Siberia.

The basis of chess is the shamanic philosophy of unity as the interaction of polar principles of Yin and Yang. The chess is decorated with the Holy symbol of the "knot of infinity", demonstrating how one line of consciousness generates its opposition, the elements of being, the infinite potentiality of the universe and the limit of times. This work of art was created by the author as a magical artifact, as an amulet that brings to its owner the protection from adversity, good fortune and prosperity, as well as a deep understanding of the trajectories of own destiny and a win in that game which is a person's life. From the Master`s point of view, a win in that game is a good way to the posthumous journey of the human soul.

The author - the White Dragon is known in the world as Tash-ool Buyevich Kunga. He is the last representative of the legendary shaman kind of Yenisei Kyrgyzes. Born in 1940 in the Tuva Republic (Russia). He saved the shamanic faith from the destruction in the years of repression and persecution of religion. Built two Buddhist temples in Tuva. Became famous as a charismatic healer, clairvoyant and Wonderworker, and all his abilities always uses in selfless service to others. He brought up about forty students - shamans in Russia and around the world.

T.B.Kunga is also known as a creator of a unique animalistic current of traditional Tuvan art carving. In contrast to the majority of the Tuvan masters he does not work with plastic stone agalmatolite, but he applies difficult-to-handle elk horn and yaman horn (mountain goat). He explains it that "the right way is never easy", as well as through the need of respect of the "life extension" to the killed by the hunters animals. Most of the works of the master are made in the form of single miniatures, referring to the wordless philosophical perception of life. In private collections there are also his carved ensembles on astrological themes, and chess. This work is the final chess of the Master, and his artistic Testament.
